Stays & venues
Fourteenth to the sixteenth is two nights. Get that wrong and you lose a night, every stay.
Hotel, homestay, guest house, dharamshala, lodge, resort, banquet hall, marriage lawn, conference room, farmhouse. The category almost nothing free serves properly.
What you get
- The desk — Arrivals, departures, in-house and what is free, on one screen
- The folio — A stay is an account that stays open for days, not a sale
- Seasons, properly — A rate calendar by date range, by weekday, or by hour for a hall session
- The register — One row per person who slept there, not per booking
- Occupancy, ADR, RevPAR — Over room-nights, not over bookings
A day at the desk
A property does not need more software than a shop. It needs software that understands a night is not a day.
Two rooms leaving today
The desk screen is four things: who arrives, who leaves, who is upstairs, and what each of them owes. Nothing else needs to be open.
Check-out, and the family is leaving two days early
They owe three nights, not five. The bill is corrected and — the half software usually forgets — the room goes back on sale for the two nights they gave back, so it can still be sold this afternoon.
A call about Dev Deepawali
The season is priced, and it is priced as a rule rather than a sticky note: a higher rate, and a three-night minimum, both applied automatically. A stay crossing out of the season is billed at both rates, night by night, and the guest can see which night was which.
Check-in, and one of them is French
The register takes every guest, not just the person who booked. A foreign national is flagged at check-in, while they are still at the desk, so the passport details get asked for once rather than chased later.
Dinner goes on room 203
The restaurant bill lands on the folio, not on a separate slip. Laundry, extra bed, the tempo to the ghat — all on one account that settles once.
Night audit
Tonight's rent accrues for everybody in house. Run it twice by accident and it still charges one night, because whoever runs it will run it twice.
What you get
Built this year, because this is the category that could not be served before.
The desk
Arrivals, departures, in-house and what is free, on one screen. Check-in allocates the actual room — which often changes at the desk — and check-out settles and frees it.
The folio
A stay is an account that stays open for days, not a sale. It takes the room, the restaurant, the laundry and the advance, and settles into your normal invoice series and your normal books — not a second set.
Seasons, properly
A rate calendar by date range, by weekday, or by hour for a hall session. Written as a fixed rate or as a multiple, so a season lifts the family room and the single differently instead of flattening them to one price.
- Minimum stay per season, which is half of what a season is
- Night-by-night pricing across a season boundary
- Weekend rates on the same mechanism, no second feature to learn
The register
One row per person who slept there, not per booking. Foreign nationals flagged for the longer record, and the whole register exportable when somebody asks for it.
Occupancy, ADR, RevPAR
Over room-nights, not over bookings — five rooms sold for one night and one room sold for five are the same five room-nights, and only one of those denominators knows it. Plus a fortnight's forecast.
A booking page on your own domain
book.yourhotel.com, taking direct bookings with your own photos and your own prices, with a certificate issued automatically. Every direct booking is a commission you keep.
Halls, lawns and conference rooms
A venue is the same primitive with a longer unit: whole days or session hours, exclusive, with a per-head catering count booked alongside it.

What this will not do for you
It is not a channel manager. A room you sell here is not automatically pulled from an OTA, and until it is you have to keep the two in step yourself. We would rather say that than sell you an integration that silently drifts and oversells your Saturday.
It also does not file Form C with the FRRO for you. It collects and keeps the record properly, which is the part that is normally lost; the filing is still yours to do.
Start with one sentence.
Say what you do. The shop, the items, the prices and the online page set themselves up while you watch — and you correct anything wrong by saying so.
One month, everything included. No card to start. Cancel inside the month and you are not billed.
