Trades & field work
The job is at the customer's house. The paperwork should not wait until you get back.
Electrician, plumber, AC service, appliance repair, pest control, carpenter, painter, RO service, CCTV installation, solar, interior contractor, housekeeping.
What you get
- Jobs and assignment — Assign by person and by day
- Checklists and photos — The list the job should follow, and pictures of before and after
- Quotations that become invoices — Quote, approval, job, invoice
- Parts from van stock — Each vehicle or technician holds stock; parts used on a job come out of it
- AMC and contracts — Recurring service contracts with their own visit schedule
A day on the road
Field work fails on two things: what was agreed, and what was actually done. Both happen away from the shop.
Four jobs, two boys, one scooter
The day is assigned, each person sees only their own list, and each job carries the address, the phone number and what went wrong last time.
Quotation, standing in the kitchen
A quote from the phone with your rates on it, sent on WhatsApp, accepted by the customer with a reply. What was agreed is recorded before the work starts, which is the entire cause of most disputes.
The job, in a basement with no signal
Checklist ticked, photos before and after, parts consumed from the van's stock. All of it offline, all of it queued, all of it correct when the phone finds signal on the way out.
Payment, on site
A UPI QR generated for that invoice, so the payment arrives already matched to the job rather than as an unexplained credit in the bank statement.
The AMC that runs out next month
Contracts with their own schedule: what is due, what has lapsed, and the renewal call worth making before it does.
Back at the shop, with nothing to enter
Because it was entered where it happened. The books, the stock and the customer history are already right.
What you get
Jobs and assignment
Assign by person and by day, with the customer's history attached so the same complaint twice is visibly the same complaint twice.
Checklists and photos
The list the job should follow, and pictures of before and after. Proof, and training, in the same two taps.
Quotations that become invoices
Quote, approval, job, invoice — one chain, so nothing is retyped and nothing drifts between what was quoted and what was billed.
Parts from van stock
Each vehicle or technician holds stock; parts used on a job come out of it, and what is missing at the end of the week is a number rather than a suspicion.
AMC and contracts
Recurring service contracts with their own visit schedule, renewals due, and revenue recognised across the term rather than all in the month you were paid.
Collection on site
Per-invoice UPI QR that reconciles itself, and credit recorded properly when a customer pays later.
Works with no signal
Which for this trade is not a nice extra. Half the jobs are in a basement, a lift shaft or a village.
Trades this fits
What this will not do for you
There is no live technician tracking on a map. You will know what was done and when it was marked done, not where the scooter is at 3 pm.
And it does not find you customers. It makes the ones you have easier to keep — the AMC renewal, the six-month service, the customer who called in March and has not called since.
Start with one sentence.
Say what you do. The shop, the items, the prices and the online page set themselves up while you watch — and you correct anything wrong by saying so.
One month, everything included. No card to start. Cancel inside the month and you are not billed.
