Why one price

We ran it free. Here is why it now costs ₹35,400.

This page used to argue that the software was free and would stay free. It said, in the same breath, that some of it would not stay free for ever and that we would tell you before that changed. This is that page, changed — with the reasoning intact rather than quietly deleted.

Three fair objections, answered

"You said free forever"

We did, and we were wrong to put it that plainly. What we also said, on the pricing page, was that parts of it would not stay free and that we would say so first. We are saying so first. Anyone already using it keeps what they were promised.

"So the price will keep climbing"

₹25,000 all-in is a launch price. It closes on 31 December 2026 and the list price — ₹30,000 plus GST — is what a shop joining in January pays. It does not rise for you: the launch price is held for three years, and after that the price you join at is the price you keep for as long as you stay — and your export is free and works, which is the only guarantee that constrains us at all.

"Are you now selling my data too?"

No, and charging money is what makes that easier to keep. Your sales data is not sold, not shared with brands and not built into a dataset somebody buys. That is in the terms, not just the marketing.

What the subscription does not have to cover

A subscription is now the first line, which is the honest change on this page. These sit alongside it, in the order we expect them to matter, and with the caveat that a plan is not a fact.

The subscription

Live

₹30,000 plus ₹5,400 GST a year — ₹25,000 all-in until 31 December 2026 — one plan, everything in it. Charging for the software is the least complicated way to fund software, and it means we are not looking for a cleverer way to make money out of you.

Hardware

Available now

Scanners, printers, cash drawers, kitchen displays and counter tablets, sold at a normal margin. A shop that runs its whole operation on our software is a shop that will buy its next printer from us.

Payments and settlement

Partly live

UPI stays free. Where cards, wallets and settlement rails carry a fee, a share of it is a normal way to earn — and one that only earns when you are earning.

Credit, with your consent

Early

A business with clean, verifiable books is a business a lender can price properly. If you choose to apply, and only if you choose, the books make it possible. Nothing is shared without you asking for it.

Services

Now

Installation, training, data migration from whatever you use today, and support beyond what is free. Free at the moment because we want the first thousand businesses badly enough to carry the cost.

The part that is not settled

We are early. Some of the above may not work as a business, and if it does not we will have to change something. What will not change is the core being free and your export working — because a business that has put two years of books into something cannot be held to ransom by it.

If you want a guarantee stronger than that, no honest young company can give you one, and you should be suspicious of anyone who does.

Judge it by the software.

The model is worth understanding, but it is not the reason to use it. Try the thing and see whether it runs your shop better than what you have.

One month, everything included. No card to start. Cancel inside the month and you are not billed.
