Reports & insight

Four numbers decide the month. The rest is detail.

What sold, what it cost, who owes you, and what is left. Everything else in a reporting menu is a way of asking one of those four more precisely.

Reports nobody reads, and reports somebody acts on

The difference is not the chart. It is whether the report names a thing you can do on Tuesday.

What stopped moving

Not 'slow-moving inventory' as a category — the four specific items that sold every week until March and have not sold since. That is a decision about shelf space.

Who stopped coming

The customers who came monthly and have not come for sixty days, with their phone numbers. That is a list, not an insight.

When you are actually busy

Sales by hour and by weekday, so staffing matches the queue instead of the roster somebody wrote in 2023.

In detail

Sales

Selling

By day, item, category, hour, counter, staff member, outlet and payment mode. With comparison to the same period last month and last year.

Margin

Money

Per item and per bill, on landed cost rather than invoice cost — which is the difference between a margin and a guess.

Stock

Stock

Valuation, ageing, days-of-cover, dead stock, expiring stock, and shrinkage by reason.

Money

Money

Receivables by age, payables, cash position, bank reconciliation status and a simple cash-flow view.

Customers

People

Best, lapsed, frequency, average bill, and who is on credit that is getting older.

Compliance

Returns

What is filed, what is due, and where the books and the returns disagree — which is worth knowing before somebody else finds it.

Daily digest

Habit

The one message a day on WhatsApp that most owners actually read: yesterday's sales, cash, top items and anything unusual.

What this will not do

It does not forecast. There is no demand model, no seasonality prediction and no AI telling you to stock more umbrellas. It shows you what happened, precisely; what happens next is still your judgement, and yours is better than a model trained on somebody else's shop.

And a report cannot fix a business that is losing money. It can tell you which part is, which is where every fix starts.

One plan. All of it.

Not a tier, not a trial. Start with one spoken sentence and see how far it goes before you decide anything.

One month, everything included. No card to start. Cancel inside the month and you are not billed.
